**About us**

We are a small family owned facility located in the inner west of Sydney. We are investing in an exciting activity program and need a dedicated and experienced CERT IV - AIN to join our team.

**About the Role**

As a Certificate IV Assistant in Nursing (AIN), you will play a vital role in supporting residents' health and well-being. Your responsibilities include assisting with medication administration via the BestDose system, supporting the Registered Nurse (RN) in monitoring residents' vital signs as directed by the General Practitioner (GP), and providing high-quality personal care aligned with individual care plans. You will also assist with wound care under RN supervision, support mobility and manual handling needs, document care activities accurately, and promote a safe, comfortable, and dignified environment for residents. Effective communication with residents, families, and the multidisciplinary team is essential to ensuring optimal care outcomes.

**Requirements**:

- Passionate about planning and delivering activities
- The ability to work as a team player with superior communication skills
- Experience caring for elderly consumers and managing challenging behaviours
- Excellent written communication & documentation skills
- Reliable, practical & able to maintain a safe & high standard of practice
- An understanding of Resident Rights, Aged Care Quality Standards
- Experience working in a person centred model of care
- Holds Certificate IV in Aged Care or Disability Support
- Has unrestricted working rights

**Job Types**: Part-time, Casual

Schedule:

- 8 hour shift
- Afternoon shift
- Morning shift
