We are a small family owned facility located in the inner west of Sydney. We need a dedicated and experienced Assistant in Nursing to join our team.

As a Certificate IV Assistant in Nursing (AIN), you will play a vital role in supporting residents' health and well-being. Your responsibilities include assisting with medication administration via the BestDose system, supporting the Registered Nurse (RN) in monitoring residents' vital signs as directed by the General Practitioner (GP), and providing high-quality personal care aligned with individual care plans. You will also assist with wound care under RN supervision, support mobility and manual handling needs, document care activities accurately, and promote a safe, comfortable, and dignified environment for residents. Effective communication with residents, families, and the multidisciplinary team is essential to ensuring optimal care outcomes.

- A commitment to quality care and service (essential)
- 2 recent clinical referees (essential)
- Current police check (essential)
- 12 months paid experience as an Assistant in nursing for Age Care in Australia (essential)
- Awareness of WHS and manual handling procedures (essential)
- Competent verbal and written communication skills (essential)
- Ability to work both independently and as part of a team (essential)
- Knowledge of documentation (essential)
- Good time management skills (essential)
- Able to demonstrate a positive, proactive and motivated attitude to work (essential)
- Cert IV in Aged Care or equivalent (essential)
- Computer literate (desirable)

**Job Types**: Part-time, Casual

Schedule:

- 8 hour shift
- Afternoon shift
- Morning shift
