Citywide are recruiting for an Operations Supervisor to join the Commercial Waste team based at our Dynon Road Transfer Station.

You will be overseeing the day to day operations of the facility which will include coordinating rosters, vehicle servicing and maintenance and ensuring compliance with Citywide policies and procedures.

**Primary responsibilities include but are not limited to**:

- Ensuring the safe and productive operations of the Transfer Station
- Rostering of staff
- Ensuring compliance relating to pre start checks, fatigue management and driver declarations
- Identify OHS risks and coordinate Toolbox Talks
- Operation of Front End Loader and Excavator as required
- Coordinating the repair and maintenance of trucks, trailers and plant
- Ensuring the safety of self, the team, Citywide clients and the general public

**Skill and qualifications required**:

- Previous experience in a similar role
- Front End Loader and Excavator ticket preferred but not essential
- Background or demonstrated ability to understand heavy equipment (mechanical & electrical preferred)
- Computer skills
- Good communication skills both written and verbal
- Knowledge of OH&S
- Ability to be proactive and problem solve
