**Operations Supervisor - Transfer Station**

Citywide are recruiting for an **Operations Supervisor** for our Transfer Station on Dynon Road.

You will be overseeing the day-to-day operations of the facility which will include coordinating rosters, maintaining and servicing machinery and equipment, and ensuring compliance with Citywide policies and procedures.

**Primary responsibilities include but are not limited to**:

- Ensuring the safe and productive operations of the Transfer Station
- Supervising the team across 3 shifts/24 hours a day/365 days a year
- Manage day to day operations of waste in and waste out
- Manage and maintain all machinery, plant and equipment
- Ensure the facility is maintained to standard
- Rostering of staff
- Ensure compliance relating to pre-start checks
- Ensure trailers are loaded within specified time frames
- Identify OHS risks and coordinate Toolbox Talks
- Ensure the safety of self, the team, Citywide clients and the general public
- Comply with all EPA requirements for the site

**Skill and qualifications required**:

- Previous supervisory experience in a large facility
- Demonstrable experience in managing large teams
- Background or demonstrated ability to understand heavy equipment (mechanical & electrical preferred)
- Computer skills
- Strong communication skills both written and verbal
- Knowledge of OH&S requirements
- Knowledge of EPA requirements
