Engineering Traineeship

Are you seeking a trade qualification & hands-on experience? - Junior or Mature age opportunity for someone mechanically minded - PPE provided - Work with a large Australian company based at the Coolum industrial estate - Awesome hours working 06:30 - 2;30pm with a 12pm finish on Fridays This 12 month traineeship will provide you with hands on experience programming, servicing & repairing production machinery for a large timber, truss, and frame manufacturer in Coolum. The successful applicant will be someone who will enjoy the technical challenges of programming machines and hold a mechanical aptitude having worked previously on small projects at home or school. On completion you will receive a Certificate II in Engineering that is a base qualification to continue in an Engineering apprenticeship to become trade qualified. **About You** Are you a confident, committed, and motivated individual with a can-do attitude and a passion for the Engineering industry? Our ideal applicant will: - Be able to get to and from work (limited public transport is available) - Work Monday - Friday 6:30am - 2:30pm (early 12pm finish on Fridays) - Some basic computer software skills (excel) - Have a genuine interest in hands on mechanical work - Some previous exposure to welding (desirable) - Can use initiative within the workplace - Have high attention to detail and exceptional organisation skills - Be extremely reliable and punctual - Be able to pass a drug and alcohol test **Who We Are?** **Community Solutions **is a non-for-profit organisation operating as a commercial business, providing apprentices and trainees to a variety of different businesses throughout Queensland.
