But we also know that fantastic coffee, delicious food, and a great atmosphere can really bring people together. And that’s how _The Village Café_ was born.

We are seeking passionate people with a love for great food and amazing coffee to join the team in our exciting new café.

You’ll find The Village Café in a prime Mordialloc location, surrounded by local residents and businesses. Part of an Australian-first, multi-generational healthcare precinct, not only will you be serving up the freshest menu for the local community, but also customers utilising the precinct’s healthcare services that include an early learning centre, residential aged care home, gym and health club with a 20 m swimming pool, and a medical centre.

**About You**

As _**The Village Café‘s**_ Barista/Café Allrounder, you will be responsible for the FOH Service in this brand new cafe. You will be required to present a friendly and professional appearance, maintain a positive team environment whilst having a “can-do” attitude, lead by example, and provide an outstanding experience for guests.

You are the person we need if you:

- have the ambition to grow, and flair to succeed,
- have a passion for great customer service and amazing coffee,
- have a superior work ethic,
- can work as part of a team as well as autonomously,
- can work well under pressure and manage several dockets at once,
- can work in a fast-paced environment, whilst maintaining quality and service standards,
- can work flexible hours over a variety of shifts, including weekends and some evenings,
- have at least 2 years’ experience in a similar role,
- have an understanding of OH&S and food safety regulations, and
- have excellent communication skills and self-motivation.

**Experience**:

- Barista experience: 1 year (preferred)
- Hospitality: 1 year (preferred)
