This is the second year that **Community Solutions** has partnered with **RoadTek** to deliver the **Women in Construction (WiC) Program**, following the success of the inaugural year. In 2024, the program placed 15 women across 9 different units throughout Queensland, paving the way for a new wave of women to enter and thrive in the civil construction industry.

**Program Overview**
- ** Role**: Full-time Traineeship in Civil Construction (Road Construction & Maintenance)
- ** Qualification**:Certificate III in Civil Construction (RII30920)
- ** Duration**: 3 years (with potential for early completion)
- ** Start Date**: March 31, 2025
- ** Location**:Brisbane**:

**Must-Have**:

- Construction White Card (or willing to obtain)
- Manual Driver’s License (or commitment to obtain within 6 months)
- Two references (work or school-related)
- Must pass a pre-employment medical assessment, including drug and alcohol testing

**Desirable**:

- CPR certification
- Year 12 completion
- Prior manual labour experience

**Other Requirements & Attributes**:

- Open to Australian or New Zealand Citizens & Permanent Residents
- Be able to work a rotating roster, including night and weekend shifts with some rosters working away from home
- Willingness to learn & adaptability
- Positive Attitude
- Teamwork & Communication Skills
- Reliable with a strong work ethic

**Work Details**
- Outdoor work in varying weather conditions
- Learning to read plans and overviews and follow and implement as directed
- Carry out measurements and calculations
- Maintenance and repair on all types of road infrastructure
- Operate small plant and equipment
- Implementation of traffic management plans
