**Why join AFFORD?** **About you** We are looking for experienced support workers who are focused on supporting people with disabilities to support them in leading their best life. **Regular Day Program shifts available (9am to 3pm) with some additional hours for client transport to and from the centre** **Shifts also available in local SIL's** To be successful in this role, you will need: - Experience working with clients with varying needs - High Complex care and High behaviour management - Experience with Medication Management - Must have own vehicle & comprehensive insurance - **A current First Aid & CPR Certificate**: - Working With Children Check, - NDIS clearance - **Current Australian driver’s licence**: - Passport, Birth or Citizenship Certificate to validate current Australian work rights - Willingness to complete National and International Police Check (paid by Afford) - Able to complete Pre-Employment Medical Assessment (paid for by Afford) - Up to date COVID-19 vaccinations* - **Minimum Certificate III in Individual Support** **What you’ll be doing** Providing high quality support to our clients with things like: personal care, community access, meal preparation and supporting clinical care needs. Additionally, you’ll be working as part of a multi-disciplinary team to ensure client’s wellbeing is optimised which could entail reading and contributing to health care plans, communicating regularly with families, and other carers.
