Associate Director, Client Development Manager

Role based in Melbourne - hybrid working

Global Transaction Services (GTS) provides transactional banking, client experience and solution implementation for institutional customers, as well as manages the bank's payment networks, the regulatory and payments strategy agenda, and the end-to-end payments operations, including clearing and settlements.

**How will I help?**

You will be directly supporting the Public Sector client portfolio through consistent sales activity and pipeline management. You will also understand the customer’s strategy to identify opportunities for strategic alignment with the GTS technology and product investment road map. You will maintain relationships with senior stakeholders to ascertain sales opportunities and manage the sales process for those opportunities where possible.

You will:

- Build and maintain relationships with senior internal, external stakeholders and work closely with the Product and Implementation Teams
- Proactively anticipate client needs and what products, solutions, and offerings are best suited for the situation
- Build a high-quality service culture for clients
- Demonstrate a thorough understanding of the Client’s strategy to identify opportunities for strategic alignment with the GTS technology and product investment road map.

**What do I need?**

To be successful in this role, you will be a pro-active individual with experience with Transactional Banking products and solutions and will have experience managing and meeting the needs of Public Sector or Corporate clients. You will have exposure to developing long-term strategic sales plans to retain relationships. You will also be able to analyse the existing strategy of your client to identify conversation points and product opportunities.

Further advantageous skills:

- Solid understanding of Transactional Banking products including payments and receivables.
- Highly developed negotiation and relationship management skills
- Familiarity with sales disciplines such as pipeline management, call reports and sales managing and understanding client needs with a preference for Corporate or Institutional
