**About the Role**:
The role will involve working with and delivering developing athletes both in person
- 1on1, group training and also via online (app).

**You will be responsible for**:
1. Designing and delivering intermediate to advanced training programs in MMA, Kickboxing, Muay Thai, Wrestling, Judo, and BJJ.

2. Coaching junior and adult athletes, from intermediate to professional level

3. Preparing fighters for national and international tournaments

4. Providing one-on-one athlete mentorship and development planning

5. Leading strength and conditioning sessions based on individual athletic goals including designing online (app) programs and monitoring.

6. Supporting youth development and delivering engaging kids’ classes

7. Contributing to fight camp structures, weight cut planning, and recovery

8. Assisting in brand building and community engagement through combat sports events

9. Designing online content, reporting and monitoring

**Experience**:
1. Minimum 20 years+ experience in combat sports

2. Minimum Black Belt in Judo and or BJJ

3. Min 15 years coaching Muay Thai, Kickboxing and MMA

4. Minimum 10 Fights in Amateur and professional Kickboxing, MMA or Muay Thai

5. Proven success preparing athletes for MMA, and striking tournaments.

6. Experienced in coaching children, teens, and adults 8+ years in the Australian fitness industry, including personal training and coaching

7. Deep understanding of injury prevention, fight camp prep, and recovery strategies

8. Experienced combat sports Strength & Conditioning

9. Must have strong technology skills

10. Must show evidence of similar program development

**Qualifications**:
1. Cert III or IV in Fitness and/or Level 1 Strength & Conditioning coach
2. Australian or internationally certified boxing, Muay Thai or Kickboxing coach.
3. Diploma in any type of management whether sports or other.
4. Must hold current blue card
5. Must hold current First Aid and CPR

**Requirements**:
You will be required to be available mornings, evening and some weekends. You will be located out of an Academy based on the Gold Coast but may required to travel from time to time.

This role is designed for an elite-level coach with international competition background, multidisciplinary coaching skills, and the ability to lead a team of developing and professional fighters.

Pay: $47,486.33 - $90,932.20 per year

- 8 hour shift

- Cert 3 and Cert 4 in fitness (required)
