Exceptional and rewarding career opportunity for a driven Human Resources Co-Ordinator to join a leading authority whose main client is the State of Victoria Central CBD location and close to public transport.

**About the Role...**
Reporting to a delightful General Manager of People & Culture, your role as a People & Culture Co-ordinator will be varied and include a range of generalist HR duties. This includes responsibilities within the following areas:
- **Organisational Development and Administration** (e.g. day-to-day admin of employee lifecycle, first level advice on policies, updates and L&D, managing employee database);
- **Talent Acquisition **(e.g. develop and achieve recruitment goals, use of recruitment platforms, assist with planning and delivery of recruitment strategies, conduct phone screens, first round interviews, background checks and inductions);
- **Risk & Compliance **(e.g. review HR policies and procedures, ensure employment contracts are compliance with current legislation, support group leaders with resolving employee issues, reporting);
- **Communications & Media **(e.g. maintain People & Culture intranet and external website, develop content for website and social media, develop print materials, maintain relationships with stakeholders for ongoing communications projects); and
- **Workplace Health & Safety**.

You will also enjoy access to Training & Personal Development activities, such as internal and external training, to ensure your skills and knowledge are up to date and your professional development is supported
- Proven experience in a similar role
- Degree or Diploma in HR is not required, but desirable
- Leadership qualities
- Strong written and verbal communication skills
- Keen attention to detail
- Good commercial acumen
- Exceptional internal and external stakeholder management skills
