**Investigator**
- $90,067 to $102,192 salary range

**About the company**

**About the role**

Conduct intelligence-led investigations into environmental crime in the north-west region. Proactively target high risk offenders to identify and prevent environmental harm. Ensure those that break environmental laws are held to account.

**Duties**
- Deliver proactive, intelligence-led investigations in the north-west region (requires travel and overnight stays)
- Collaborate across EPA and with co-regulators to drive improved environmental and public health outcomes
- Represent the EPA positively in engaging with the community and duty holders to build knowledge and awareness of relevant laws

**Skills and experience**
- Experience in conduct of criminal investigations
- Knowledge of contemporary techniques for the conduct of proactive and reactive investigations
- Demonstrated capability to plan, monitor and deliver projects/programs
- Ability to work independently with remote supervision
