We’re at the intersection of technology, engineering and design helping our clients tackle the biggest challenges facing our cities and communities across the globe Jacobs Engineering has a rare opportunity for a Commercial Analyst to join the team and support to the **Lead Commercial Analyst** and **Director of Operations** with responsibilities covering, budgeting, forecasting, commercial support, strategy and analysis of financial reporting, financial and commercial governance consistency and special projects. **This position can be based in Melbourne, Sydney or New Zealand and key responsibilities include**: - Operational analysis, including analysis of data accuracy and the integrity of operational KPI reporting - Monthly Project Portfolio Reviews, focussing on commercial reporting and compliance - Large bid commercial support (modelling of cost and pricing scenarios) - Project Pricing Commercial Reviews as required for workload management of the Pricing sub-team only - Review of G&A spend on responsible Performance Units (each period) - Monthly Financial Update within Commercial Team - Review end of month estimates and undertake activities aligned with maximising performance unit results each period - Assist in the development of management & compliance reporting - Undertake management reporting and support budget process - Support administrative processes as directed by the Commercial Lead. **Here’s What You’ll Need**: - Tertiary qualifications in Finance, Accounting, Business, Program Management or related field - Extensive, relevant experience in Finance/Business/Commercial analyst role - Demonstrated effective influencing and negotiation skills, along with clear and concise verbal and written communication skills - An understanding of legislation and the commercial implications - Experience in implementing financial & business process changes **Jacobs.
