**About us**

Renew Maintenance is a strata, commercial and residential maintenance company servicing public and private clients predominantly in the south Sydney region but also cover the Illawarra. We are offering an apprenticeship in Parks & Gardens Cert111 which will give you the qualification of a Horticulturist. The apprenticeship is 3-4 years. The TAFE studies are in a block system meaning 3-4 day blocks certain months. We do all aspects of gardening work including pruning, weed control, hedging & shaping, fertilising, plant selection, planting, soil/compost addition, mulching, irrigation, lawn care and installation etc.

**Qualifications & experience**
- We are seeking expressions of interest from horticulture apprentices
- No qualifications required but a general interest in the industry is ideal, and some basic knowledge of mowing lawns preferred
- Preferred Current manual driver’s license and vehicle for transport to and from site is required if living in the Sydney region or an agreed upon pick up location if local to the Illawarra (I no license be not far off from obtaining and have another means to be able to get to location)

**Tasks & responsibilities**
- All aspects of horticulture (garden maintenance) and some landscaping work
- Opportunity to work with well-respected clients
- The successful applicant/s will be able to work in a physical environment, have the right attitude and willingness to learn in a hardworking and supportive team.
- Well-presented and able to communicate in a professional manner.
- Comfortable working with tools, including working on ladders
- We are looking for people that are positive, passionate, honest, with a strong work ethic
- Enjoy and thrive working as part of a team
- Able to work unsupervised
- Has great attention to detail

**Job Types**: Full-time, Apprenticeship

**Salary**: $1,000.00 - $1,913.00 per week

Schedule:

- 8 hour shift
- Day shift
- Monday to Friday
- Weekend availability
