Horticulture Traineeship

**Certificate lll Horticulture**

This is a **Full time **position. As a trainee you will undertake a certificate for 3-4 years gaining valuable industry skills, growth and development.

As a trainee you will work on a variety of projects and locations and learn from experienced tradesmen. You will need to have a genuine interest in the world of horticulture and be prepared to work on playing fields, parks and gardens. Some duties may include:

- Playing surface mowing
- Brush cutting
- Irrigation
- Drainage works
- Application Spraying (after suitable training)
- Turf preparation and management
- General grounds maintenance as part of grounds team
- Assist with turf maintenance projects and general course preparation

To be considered for a traineeship the following is required:

- A willingness to develop skills and knowledge in this trade
- Physical fitness and the ability to undertake manual labour for extended periods
- Be a safe confident worker
- Willingness to travel
- Enjoy practical and manual work
- Ability to follow instructions and communicate effectively
- **MUST **have a car and licence, due to changing sites.

**Salary**: From $26,000.00 per year

Schedule:

- Monday to Friday
- Weekend availability

Supplemental pay types:

- Overtime pay
