Join Curtin University’s **Operations and Maintenance Team **as our new **Facility Manager for Curtin Exchange & Tenancies**

Ready to take charge of Curtin’s vibrant and diverse spaces? As our **Facility Manager**, you’ll oversee the bustling Curtin Exchange, new and existing student accommodations, and a range of retail, commercial, and industrial tenancies. We’re seeking a proactive, results-oriented professional to manage and enhance these key facilities, ensuring smooth operations and an exceptional experience for all tenants across our Perth facilities.

**What You'll Do**:

- **Lead maintenance and operational management **across Curtin’s diverse tenancies to support effective high-quality student and tenant experience.
- **Foster strong relationships** with tenants, including Curtin Guild, retail and commercial partners, to ensure efficient, effective service delivery.
- **Drive strategic contract management** by overseeing contractor performance, budgeting, and compliance with industry standards, especially within high-traffic, student-centred environments.
- **Manage tenancy performance** for Curtin’s owned spaces and leased properties, with responsibility for high standards in customer satisfaction, maintenance, and operational excellence.

**About You**:

- Extensive experience and qualifications within asset management, engineering and/or facilities management for large-scale or multi-site facilities.
- Strong experience in managing tenant relationships across both owned and leased properties.
- Proven leadership experience in managing complex operations and large teams.
- Strong communication and relationship-building skills with the ability to manage contracts and budgets effectively.
- Resilience, adaptability, and a passion for continuous improvement and sustainability.

**Work Requirements**:

- Valid White Card
- WA Class C Driver’s License
- A level of fitness commensurate with the requirements of the position
- Ability to be on call and respond to urgent issues arising outside normal office hours
- Ability to travel to other campuses as required
- Full working rights in Australia
