**$90k - $100k per annum + superannuation**

We are seeking a permanent, full time leader to join the School Executive team, with expertise in Facilities Management and Work Health Safety (WHS).

**ABOUT THE ROLE**

As a valued staff member at Orana, you will contribute to the community as a leader and member of a team that is focused on ensuring that the school grounds, buildings and facilities are maintained in pristine condition according to the highest standards and that all WHS requirements are maintained. You will also be the Work Health Safety Committee Chair, Chief Emergency Warden and be experienced in emergency management.

**About You**
- Experience leading and managing a small team responsible for maintaining the gardens, grounds and all buildings and school facilities
- Excellent organisational and administrative ability and attention to detail
- Experience managing a budget and a strategic approach to prioritising areas for improvement and expenditure
- Managing contractors and sub-contractors
- Experience in emergency management
- A systems-thinking approach to school safety and compliance and commitment to continuous improvement of systems
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, written and verbal
- The skills and attitude to work collaboratively in a dynamic team setting
- A willingness to implement, support and promote the School’s Steiner ethos
- A willingness to be involved in the wider life of the School, including some out of hours commitment to assist with festivals and school celebrations which are integral to the Steiner community.

You must also:

- hold current WwVP registration or be eligible to obtain prior to commencement
- hold a current First Aid Certificate
- hold a Class C drivers license
- be eligible to work in Australia.

Salary and conditions of employment are in accordance with the _Independent Schools ACT (Support and Operational Staff) Multi-Enterprise Agreement 2021_. Bargaining for the next MEA is currently underway.
