**Position Objective**

The Cyber security Specialist is responsible for developing, implementing, and managing comprehensive ICT security strategies and protocols to protect organisational information systems and data. The role encompasses a broad range of responsibilities aimed at ensuring compliance with industry standards and regulatory requirements, including ISO 27001.

**About You**
- At least 2 years in a leading day-to-day IT operations
- Technical Proficiency: Network security, system administration (Windows and Mac), and cloud

security.
- Incident Response: Identify and respond to security incidents, conduct post-incident analyses.
- Risk Management: Perform risk assessments and vulnerability testing.
- Compliance Knowledge: Familiarity with ISO 27001, GDPR, and security policy development.
- Identity and Access Management:Proficient in IAM solutions and access control best practices.
- Training and Awareness: Develop and deliver security awareness programs and phishing simulations.
- Documentation: Prepare security documentation and incident reports.
- Analytical Skills: Problem-solving and critical thinking for security issue resolution.
- Project Management: Manage security projects and collaborate with cross-functional teams.
- Continuous Learning: Stay updated on security trends and adapt to new technologies.
- The ability to self-manage your time across multiple initiatives and competing priorities
- A Degree in Systems Engineering, Computer Science, Information Technology or related discipline is highly regarded but not essential if you have demonstrated relevant experience
- Ability to interpret and communicate in both business and high-level technical language, with confident verbal and written English.
- Brisbane region based, a drivers license is essential

Pay: $73,000.00 - $80,000.00 per year
