**About the role**

As the Student Service Manager at the Hader Institute of Education, you will play a pivotal role in enhancing the student experience and supporting the academic success of our diverse learner community. This full-time position is based in our Armadale, VIC call centre and will see you leading a team of student service professionals to deliver exceptional support and guidance to our students.

**What you'll be doing**
- Oversee the day-to-day operations of the student service department, ensuring efficient and effective delivery of services
- Lead, manage and develop a team of student service professionals to provide high-quality support to students
- Liaise with academic staff to identify and address the needs of students, implementing proactive support strategies
- Manage student enquiries, complaints and feedback, resolving issues in a timely and professional manner
- Develop and implement policies, procedures and systems to streamline student service processes
- Collaborate with other departments to enhance the overall student experience
- Contribute to the continuous improvement of student service offerings
- Prepare reports and analyse data to inform decision-making and service enhancements
- You will report to the Student Recruitment Manager

**What we're looking for**
- At least (3+ years) in a student service or student support role within the education sector or relevant customer service experience
- Or holds an AQF Associate Degree, Advanced Diploma or Diploma in relevant field
- Proven track record of leading and developing high-performing teams
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to engage effectively with students, staff and stakeholders
- Strong problem-solving and decision-making skills, with a solutions-oriented approach
- Proficient in data analysis and report writing to drive continuous improvement
- Thorough understanding of student service best practices and the regulatory environment in the education industry

Pay: $75,000.00 - $85,000.00 per year
