**About the Company**:
We have partnered with one of Melbourne’s Local government councils, looking for an ICT Infrastructure Team Leader to join a growing Service Desk Team, where you will be reporting into and working with the ICT Operations and security Lead..

**About the Role**:
The purpose of ICT Infrastructure Team Leader is to work with & manage various SME’s to design, implement, manage and evolve the infrastructure (on-premises and/or cloud) that supports the organisation's ICT systems.
- Leading the development of solution architectures in specific business, infrastructure or functional areas.
- Actively maintaining recognised expert level knowledge in one or more identifiable specialisms.
- Taking responsibility for understanding client requirements, collecting data, delivering analysis and problem resolution. Identifies, evaluates and recommends options, implementing if required.
- Manage capacity modelling and forecasting activities.
- Support and promote the development and sharing of specialist knowledge within the organisation
- Sets performance targets, and monitors progress against agreed quality and performance criteria.

**About You**:

- At least 5 years’ experience as an infrastructure or solution engineer, architect, team leader, manager or suitable equivalent.
- Proven track record of successfully designing and managing ICT infrastructure maximising availability, performance and adherence to SLAs.
- Understanding of COBIT, NIST, Essential 8, ISO27001 and VPDSS
- Lead, mentor, motivate and develop staff members.
- Product knowledge & experience with one or more of the following products: Palo Alto Firewalls, Juniper switches, Ruckus AP’s, Dell server and storage hardware & VMWare.
- Experience with Cloud hosting services (preferably Azure and/or AWS).
