**Role**

Are you a highly organised individual with attention to detail that is second to none?

We are looking for a new **Assistant Category Manager** to join our experienced team and provide critical administrative support across our Print (Books, Newspapers & Magazines) categories.

This entry level role provides a print enthusiast, recent graduate, or passionate retailer with the rare opportunity to build your career with a global retailer, whilst demonstrating your keen commercial acumen and superior customer service.

**No two days will look the same as you take ownership of tasks including**:

- Accurate and timely management of category SKUs and vendors in our ERP
- Coordination of the promotional activities
- Manage queries, including pricing, invoice and store queries
- Play a role in supplier relationship management
- Weekly, monthly & ad-hoc reporting
- Supporting with assortment reviews and file maintenance
- Administrative tasks as directed

**In order to be successful in this role you will need**:

- Tertiary qualifications in marketing, business or a related field
- Previous experience in a similar role or retail environment
- Experience with POS and ERP software will be highly regarded
- Strong Microsoft suite skills including Excel
- A high level of initiative
- Strong attention to detail
- Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced, high-pressured environment
- Strong written and verbal communication skills
