Our OSHC is located on the beautiful grounds of St Cecilia’s Primary School in Balgowlah and is open from 7:00am to 9am in the mornings and from 3:00pm to 6pm in the afternoons Monday to Friday during term time. The service also operates from 7am-6pm on Pupil Free Days. This is a permanent full-time position of 38 hours per week **term time only**. There will be the option of additional casual work during the school holidays at our other local Vacation Care services for the successful applicant. **Duties** - Supporting the coordinator with the efficient day to day operation of the service. - Regularly evaluating the program to ensure it caters for the interests and needs of school age children - Ensuring compliance and best practice programming under the National Quality Standards and Regulations. - Advising families about the program, policies and procedures when required. - Willingness to engage in professional development. **Requirements**: - Completion of CHCPRT025 "Identify & report children and young people at risk" certificate or willingness to obtain. - Valid Working With Children Check. - Current First Aid in an Education and Care Setting or willingness to obtain. - Hold a current First Aid and CPR Certificate including Asthma and Anaphylaxis Training or willingness to obtain - Agree to be a Responsible Person in Charge in the absence of the Nominated Supervisor **Highly Desirable** - Knowledge of regulation relevant to Outside School Hours Care under the Education and Care Services National Regulations and Law. - Experience in working in Out of School Hours Care - Experience as an Assistant Coordinator - Qualification in Early Childhood - Skills and experience in team leadership **Culture and Benefits** We know that changing roles is a big decision - so here is what we can offer you: - Salary packaging - also known as salary sacrifice - means allocating a portion of your salary to pay certain expenses before income tax is calculated.
