**$1000 Sign On Bonus**: - ** Salary packaging PLUS annual leave loading**: - ** Pay Range: CSA 5.1 - $40.31 Per Hour** **About the role** The Assistant Coordinator is responsible for working closely with the Coordinator to provide programs for children aged 5 - 12 years in Before School Care & After School Care at our Balgowlah location. This is a permanent full time position term time only. There will the option of additional casual work during the school holidays at our other local Vacation Care services. **Duties** - Working in support of the coordinator on administrative tasks and efficient day to day operation of the service. - Regularly evaluating the program to ensure it caters for the interests and needs of school age children and meets the requirements of the 'My Time - Our Place' Framework. - Ensure Compliance and best practice programming under the National Quality Standards and Regulations. - Advising families about the program, policies and procedures when required. - Where appropriate take on the role of Educational Leader within the service, providing guidance and support. - Working in support of the coordinator on administrative tasks and efficient day to day operation of the service. **Requirements**: - Qualifications or significant experience in working in outside school hours care. - Skills and experience in team leadership. - Completion of the "Identify & Respond to Children and Young People at Risk" certificate. - Knowledge of regulation relevant to Outside School Hours Care under the Education and Care Services National Regulations and Law. - Current First Aid certification/CPR certification/Asthma and Anaphylaxis. - Working With Children Check. - National Criminal History Check. **Culture and Benefits** Please find attached a video about what it means to work at CatholicCare.
