**Your day to day**
At Holiday Inn Melbourne Airport, we're seeking an Assistant Housekeeping Manager to join our great Housekeeping team. As the Assistant Housekeeping Manager, you will report directly to the Housekeeping Manager and lead our team of Supervisors and team leaders to deliver a wonderfully clean hotel to our guests.

Our team takes pride in their work and so will you, ensuring that our high cleanliness standards are met and the team are supported to achieve their best each and every day.

You will allocate rooms, complete room inspections and use occupancy forecasts to roster accordingly to our productivity ratios. You will liaise with our external housekeeping partners to ensure we have the correct manning for each allocated day.

You will work closely with other internal departments such as Front Office and Engineering to ensure the Hotel performs at its best.

You will be responsible for health and safety of your internal and external housekeeping team by ensuring best practices are followed and compliance training is completed.

**What we need from you**
To be successful in this role, you will need:

- Previous hotel housekeeping leadership experience and looking to grow your career
- An approachable and collaborative leadership style which will motivate and engage those around you
- Experience using Opera is highly advantageous
- Excellent verbal and written communication is a must
- Attention to detail
- Flexibility to work full time shifts across a 7 day roster as weekend work is part of the role
- Full working rights to work full time in Australia (unfortunately sponsorship is not an option)
