Our client is a leading producer of construction materials and services for the Australian and international market. Right now, they currently have a large amount of work in the pipeline and are looking for several persons who are experienced **Mechanical Plant Fitters **to assist at their Cement Plant, located in Pinkenba.

**The Job**:
Work within a busy fixed Cement Plant assisting with the mechanical operations of machinery for production. Engaged on a casual basis, with the opportunity to go permanent - to the right person

Duties will include, not limited to:

- Collaborate with engineers and other team members.
- Optimize machinery performance and implement process improvements.
- Adhere to health and safety regulations and company policies to maintain a safe working environment.
- Document work activities, including maintenance records, reports, and inventory management.
- Accurately read and interpret workshop drawings, hydraulic and electrical schematics
- Be a team player as well as working autonomously.

**Benefits**:

- Great pay rates: $48.36 p/h (**Inclusive of casual loading**)
- Penalties where applicable + superannuation
- Rotating roster - 1 week of days, 1 week of nights
- Ongoing work with views to permanency

**Requirements**:

- Confined space ticket - **Essential**:

- Working at heights ticket (working at 30 metre heights) - **Essential**:

- **Mechanical Trade Qualifications.**:

- Have extensive knowledge of WHS regulations.
- EWP - Desirable
- Forklift - Desirable
- Must have own Mechanical Fitting tools.
- Knowledge of hydraulics and pneumatics advantages.
- Must be willing to be clean shaven for RPE requirements.
- Unlimited and full working rights in Australia
