**About the role**

To support our success we are looking for an Accounts Officer to join the Finance team based in Brisbane.

As an Accounts Officer you will be responsible for performing the day to day processing of accounting transactions to ensure payments and finances are maintained in an effective, up to date and accurate manner. You will also assist the Senior Accounts Officer with month end processes.

**This role is available as a 12- month max term/ secondment opportunity.**

**About you**

If this is the right role for you, your skills and qualifications will include:

- Previous Accounts Payable processing experience.
- An understanding of accounting principles and policies.
- Demonstrated detailed understanding of company policies.
- Sound verbal and written communication skills.
- Demonstrated experience in performing basic analysis of accounting information.
- High level organisational skills and the ability to balance multiple priorities and conflicting deadlines.
- Proven ability to quickly learn new information, processes and procedures.
- Demonstrated ability to establish effective, professional working relationships with high standards of customer service.
