Talent Focus are currently seeking a competent Leading Hand for a reputable Design-Focused Manufacturer.
- Full-Time Permanent
- 65K + Super (negotiable)
- Located in Marrickville
- Monday-Thursday 8:30am-4:30pm
- Friday 8:30am-4:00pm

About the company

Our client is a design-focused manufacturer that focus on detail, quality and architectural design. They are passionate about design and are committed to ensuring good design is available within our public spaces.

They continuously seek ways to minimise our impact on the environment by regularly reviewing the design, production, finishing, assembly and delivery methods they employ. They pursue new materials and finishes as they become available, and respond to specific project requirements as needed.

About the role
- With each product made to order, you will be in charge of managing a team of 2.
- This is a very hands on position where you will demonstrate duties of;
- Being a team leader
- Assembly work
- Wood work machinery
- Forklift driving
- All-rounder warehousing duties; receiving goods, inventory check/ordering, managing deliveries, production schedules
- Reading technical drawings
- Working alongside assemblers and machine operators

About you
- 3-5 years’ experience in manufacturing (wood-work preferred, but not necessary)
- Experience with assembling/production work
- Must have a forklift licence
- Be hands on
- Take initiative
- Be organised, motivated, physically fit and team player
- Have attention to detail
- Not afraid to do the work

MUST:
Have full working rights or Permanent Residency in Australia
