We have an exciting opportunity for a **Leading Hand** to join the team. The **Leading Hand** **is responsible for managing all trade onsite activities in relation to quality and completion of works whilst ensuring all safety procedures are followed.

**Responsibilities**
- Coordination and logistics of material handling for the relevant trades on site.
- Uphold correct procedures regarding relevant site correspondence and programming.
- Maintain overall quality assurance whilst ensuring building compliance.
- Be aware of and report to the Site Manager any issues likely to have a substantial impact on operations.
- Maintain professional relationships with relevant trades.
- Assist the Foreman with supervising daily activities of Trades and Labourers on site within allocated section.
- Supervise the day-to-day events and proceedings within allocated section.
- Demonstrate a commitment to ongoing professional development and continuous learning by actively participating in the Leading Hand Program and completing all associated paperwork in required timeframes.

**Skills & Experience**
- Cert III Carpentry and/or Cert IV in Building and Construction
- Experience working on high-rise residential projects
- Strong attention to detail and excellent communication skills
- Ability to build strong relationships with colleagues and subcontractors
- Must be self-motivated, demonstrating exemplary leadership and multi-tasking skills
