Individualised Community Access Services (ICAS) are seeking multiple employees for our client in Scarborough. We are looking for individuals who are passionate about helping others and about supporting our clients to achieve greater independence and skills.

We provide a roster of shifts where you are employed to work with specific clients. We have long term staff and truly value our Team environment.

The Scarborough/Redcliffe position requires
- Assisting clients within their home with domestic and daily living tasks.
- Assisting the client to attend appointments and outings in the community.
- Assisting clients with activities of daily living, such as meal preparation a.
- Assisting clients to work towards their NDIS goals in accordance with their Support Plan.
- An understanding and ability to provide trauma informed care.

Requirements
- A passion and willingness to assist.
- Client has a preference for a mature male.
- Experience with Acquired Brain Injury and anti-social behaviour preferred.
- Experience with mental health and trauma informed care.
- Awareness and ability to promote positive mental health and wellbeing.
- Strong professional boundaries.
- An interest in computer games beneficial.
- CPR and First Aid (or willing to obtain).
- NDIS Worker Screening (or willing to obtain).
- Additional skills with complex clients.
- Commitment to ongoing training and professional development.

ICAS has been providing disability support services within the Greater Brisbane region for over 25 years, with long term staff and long term clients. We have a passion for seeing our clients achieve their NDIS goals and obtain greater independence. We are looking for the right people to join our wonderful team.

**Job Type**: Casual

Pay: $34.00 - $40.00 per hour

Ability to commute/relocate:

- Scarborough QLD: Reliably commute or planning to relocate before starting work (preferred)

Licence/Certification:

- First Aid Certification (preferred)
- NDIS Worker Screening (preferred)
