Dynamic Pelvic Health Physio

**About You**:
You have been a qualified Physiotherapist for at least 2-3yrs with good musculoskeletal and/or sports private practice experience, and have now found that your calling lies in the area of pelvic health (including women’s and/or men’s health). You have completed at least your basic pelvic health training (including internal examination and treatment) and are looking to develop your career further in this exciting, specialised area.

As a dynamic Physio with great communication skills, a desire to work collaboratively, and a passion for incorporating the latest research into your clinical work, you are looking to progress from being a good, to excellent therapist, under the guidance of an experienced mentor (Pelvic Health Physio and APA titled Sports & Exs Physiotherapist with over 30yrs experience in both high-level Sports Physiotherapy and Pelvic Health).

In addition, you are keen to work in a progressive clinic that encourages you to explore your ideas and areas of special interest, actively develops new programmes as the research emerges and changes our perspectives, and is a friendly and supportive workplace, where laughing is considered an essential part of every day.

**About the Role**:
For the right person, this role can either be full, or part-time, with a combination of clinical hours, class teaching, and service development adjusted to your skills and desires.

Our clients come from our extensive network of referrers (both health and fitness professionals) and via word of mouth. As a clinic we treat all aspects of the pelvis, both internal and external, women’s, men’s and paediatrics. You are not expected to be confident or competent in all these areas as we can train you up, so a willingness to learn is a huge advantage. We also recognize that each of our therapists has their own areas of expertise and interest, book clients accordingly, and work collaboratively across the clinic to ‘filter’ our clients towards the optimal therapist for their particular issue.

In addition to this, and the weekly mentoring sessions that you will receive from the lead Physio, we hold a fortnightly team meeting/training session, and offer a substantial continuing professional development allowance. Ongoing learning and development is expected, and essential, in this rapidly evolving area.

The clinic was established 7yrs ago to provide a specialised clinic for treatment and management of all aspects of the pelvis (including pregnancy concerns), marrying together the internal and aspects of care to optimise recovery for this very under-serviced population.
