About the role

Maintain a clean and immaculate home environment and provide exceptional laundry services to residents living at our brand new home and precinct, The Queenslea in Claremont. We offer successful applicants an outstanding workplace, beautiful surroundings and a positive and engaging culture.

The role will entail:

- The provision of high quality cleaning and laundry services for the people living in The Queenslea.
- Working as part of a dynamic team.
- Maintain high standards of infection control.
- Completing documentation in accordance with Oryx Communities policies and procedures.
- Interacting with the residents and their families in a friendly, helpful and positive manner.
- Excellent time management and attention to detail required.

Skills and experience
- Previous experience in housekeeping/hotel services/laundry services required
- Ability to manage time effectively
- Understanding of quality customer service to residents and their families
- Outstanding attention to detail
- Good communication skills and ability to work as part of a team
- Undertaken or willing to undertake Hand Hygiene and COVID 19 training
- Understanding and previous experience working with residents living with Dementia favourable

**Job Types**: Part-time, Permanent

Schedule:

- 8 hour shift

COVID-19 considerations:
All staff and visitors are required to wear a mask, as well as complete a RAT test prior to entering the building.

Ability to commute/relocate:

- Claremont, WA 6010: Reliably commute or planning to relocate before starting work (preferred)

**Experience**:

- Cleaning: 1 year (preferred)

Licence/Certification:

- National Police Certificate (preferred)

Work Authorisation:

- Australia (preferred)
