**About the Role**

Located in Mitchelton, 10 km north west of the Brisbane CBD, Moonah Park Aged Care is a 98 bed service, offering a peaceful setting in the suburbs.

The Lifestyle Assistant is responsible for assisting with the provision of activities in accordance with the Positive Wellbeing Model of Care, which enhances the psychological, spiritual, social and physical well-being of residents and clients. In this role you will:

- Assist with development and delivery of leisure and recreational activities;
- Support residents to participate in activities and attend to the personal care needs of clients/residents as required;
- Assist with the regular review and improvement of activities;
- Maintain accurate documentation of activities including evaluation of individual resident programs and plans.

Remuneration for this role is $25.66 - $27.81 per hour commensurate with experience.

**About You**

You are a confident, dynamic and motivated individual who thrives on innovation when it comes to enriching the lives of the elderly. Whether it be a concert at the facility or driving our residents for a day out on the bus, your main goals are to motivate, inspire and involve the residents. You have excellent interpersonal communication and customer service skills. You have a fun-loving nature along with compassion and understanding of individual needs.

Ideally your experience and qualifications include:

- First Aid certificate and Cardiopulmonary Resuscitation (CPR) certificate;
- Good communication skills with the elderly and team members;
- Similar work experience in an aged care setting;
- National Police and NDIS Screening Check or the ability to acquire.
