Procurement Sourcing Role in Government | $60 - $70 per Hour

**Your new organisation**

This Government organisation currently has a vacancy for a Sourcing Specialist to join their procurement team on a 6-month basis with potential for extension or permanency.

**Your new role**
- Actively manage several tenders and sourcing projects concurrently
- Perform sourcing of goods, services, works, and consultancy engagements
- Develop and execute sourcing strategies, tenders and contracts
- Liaise with key stakeholders, provide advice on best sourcing approaches, preparing contracts, assist in negotiations and facilitate post market approvals.

**What you need to succeed**
- Demonstrated experience in source to contract procurement processes, including conducting market analysis and research, developing sourcing events, tendering, facilitating negotiations and setting up contracts.
- Strong foundation in contract negotiations, and driving best commercial outcomes and risk mitigation for the business
- Strong eye for detail and understanding of tenders and related strategies
- Strong stakeholder management and communication skills
- Competency with Ariba and SAP
