We are seeking an experienced receptionist for our afternoon shifts on a permanent part-time basis working Monday-Friday.
**What You Bring**
Working closely with stakeholders and you will bring the following demonstrated skills, experience and knowledge:
- Create an excellent first impression of Monash Health by providing an efficient, respectful, courteous and professional greeting to all of our consumers, either by telephone or in person, and to support them in relation to the purpose for their contact and/or visit
- Ensure patients are provided with accurate information regarding their admission and assist patients/carers/families with their inquiries using a number of systems and methods. This includes the Patient Administrative System (iPM), Electronic Medical Records (EMR), Scanned Medical Records (SMR) and other Monash Health accepted methods or systems.
- Provide administrative support to Managers, Team Leaders and other stakeholders across the department as necessary
- Be accountable for performance with regard to data accuracy and integrity
- Answer and assist incoming callers in a friendly, courteous and professional manner at all times
- Ensure appropriate standard of presentation and maintenance of reception area

**Q**ualifications, background, experience**
- Extensive experience in Customer Services ( essential)
- Previous experience in a health care setting_ (desirable)_
- _ Business Administration Studies ( preferred)_
- _ Demonstrated proficiency in computer skills/ data entry ( essential)_
