These key capability areas include project and program delivery (project management), property strategy and development management, infrastructure advisory, cost estimating, project planning and controls, and Project Management Office (PMO).

We are now seeking expressions of interest from Planners and Schedulers with infrastructure exprience to join our Cost Estimating Team as our Lead Scheduler:

- Develop a time management framework including planning and scheduling rules, work breakdown structures, templates and processes. Comply with and carry out regular reviews of the framework, and update as required
- Assist project teams to develop and maintain program and project schedules including pre-construction and construction phases
- Contribute to project planning processes to ensure all project activities, key dates and interfaces are identified, understood and scheduled
- Assist project team members to resolve scheduling issues associated with activities under their responsibility
- Monitor and report on key project and program milestones, including preparing detailed functional schedules, bar charts and resource graphs, as required
- Prepare time recovery strategy options where delay or potential delay will affect a critical date of a project
- Review and provide advice on contractor extension of time claims
- Review detailed schedules and reports prepared by contractors in accordance with project requirements and highlight any concerns which may lead to schedule non-compliance
- Produce management reports/dashboards on the project time status and resources for monthly status reports
- Work with the Cost Controller, Finance Officer and procurement team with time-based information to inform cost forecasting and procurement requirements
- Assist clients and contractors in the administration of contracts (in particular time-related matters)
- Forensic schedule analysis and monthly reporting
- Schedule risk analysis
- Assist with Project Risk identification and monitoring
- Demonstrated leadership, project controls, and management skills and experience with a proven record of achieving successful and effective outcomes is essential
- Highly developed written, interpersonal and oral communication skills including proven ability to liaise, negotiate, facilitate and consult with a diverse range of stakeholders is essential
- More than 10 years demonstrated experience using scheduling packages including Primavera P6 and MS Project in a construction environment
- Strong organisational and analytical skills and a high level of commercial and contractual ability
- Planning and scheduling experience on major infrastructure and building projects essential
- good written and verbal skills
- sound understanding of construction/planning methodologies
- Sound understand of schedule risk analysis tools including PertMaster and Acumen.
