**Position Overview**:
As a Veterinary Nurse Assistant at ARH Canberra, you will play a crucial role in supporting our veterinary nursing team in delivering top-notch care to our patients. Your responsibilities will include assisting with animal handling, monitoring patients, maintaining cleanliness in the hospital, and providing support to our veterinarians and nurses.
- Monday to Friday 12pm - 8pm
- Assist veterinary nurses and veterinarians in routine procedures
- Monitor and care for hospitalized patients
- Administer medications as directed by the veterinary team
- Ensure the cleanliness and hygiene of hospital facilities
- Handle and restrain animals with care and compassion
- Assist with client communication and education
- Maintain accurate records of patient care and treatments

**Requirements**:

- Previous experience in a veterinary setting is highly desirable
- Excellent communication and teamwork skills
- Ability to handle animals with gentleness and confidence
- Strong organisational and multitasking abilities
- Commitment to maintaining a high standard of patient care
