**Job Description**:
Our ARH Canberra site is looking for a Sterilisation Technician to assist in maintaining and managing equipment to allow our team to provide exceptional and quality service and care to our patients. This position is suitable for anyone looking for Part-Time or Full-Time employment who has excellent attention to detail and the knowledge and understanding of infection and quality control.

**Qualifications**:
**About you**
- Certificate III in Sterilisation qualifications (or working towards) or a minimum of 2 years experience as a Sterilisation Technician.
- You will have a vital role within a dedicated specialist surgery, medicine, dental and emergency department’s
- Maintain the SSD area and equipment including service & maintenance agreements
- Actively participate in quality improvements, initiatives, risk management & OHS activities
- Assist with management of general stock control
- Knowledge of diverse sterilisation equipment, techniques, and instrument care
- Knowledge of scope sterilisation, maintenance, and care
- Motivated and self-directed with excellent communication skills and a can-do attitude
- Excellent time Management skills and ability to multi-task
- Good oral and written communication skills
- Ability to work effectively in a high stress environment as part of a multidisciplinary team
- Ability to work flexible hours
