Are you passionate about animal care and eager to contribute to a leading veterinary facility? The Animal Referral Hospital Canberra is seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic Veterinary Hospital Attendant to join our dynamic team.

The Animal Referral Hospital (ARH) is a state-of-the-art facility committed to providing the highest quality veterinary care to companion animals. Our Canberra branch is well-equipped with advanced medical technologies and staffed by a team of skilled professionals dedicated to improving the lives of pets through exceptional healthcare.

**Position Overview**:
We are currently looking for a Veterinary Hospital Attendant to join us at ARH Canberra for our busiest time of the year to assist our dedicated teams of Vets and Nurses in keeping the hospital clean and tidy and ensuring our patients receive the best care possible. **This role is Full-time Monday to Friday, 6am - 2pm.**

**To be successful in this position you must possess the following attributes**:

- A friendly, team player attitude
- Able to work autonomously when required
- Able to work comfortably in a fast paced environment
- Strong communication skills
- Ability to take initiative and prioritise tasks to suit the needs of the hospital
- High attention to detail and ability to multi-task

**Duties will include but not be limited to**:

- Cage cleaning and re-setting
- Walking, feeding and watering patients under nurse instruction
- Maintaining cleanliness of hospital areas, including floors, throughout the day as required
- Daily laundry upkeep
- Cleaning of patient dishes
