**The Role**

**Key Responsibilities will include supporting the team with**:

- strategic communication to support initiatives, campaigns and services delivered by Endeavour
- assist the team with writing, creating, and production of eDM's, eNewsletters, scripts, presentations, digital and other print collateral (This includes research, writing and editing, proofing and production)
- working with key stakeholders within relevant business units to deliver on agreed plans and activities
- monthly reporting

**The Team**

The trainee will be placed with our host, The Endeavour Foundation. An organisation where people are working together, making possibilities a reality for people with a disability.

With over 5,000 staff operating over 300 sites in the heart of local communities across Queensland and New South Wales and Victoria, the Endeavour Foundation offers choice, opportunities and personalised support in the key areas of home, work, learning and community participation.

This position will offer a wealth of knowledge to build a foundation for an aspiring business professional, plus the advantage of working in a supportive team environment with a dedicated Community Solutions Field Representative who will guide you through obtaining your Cert III in Business.

**What will you bring to the role?**

Our team will teach you during the traineeship, but there are some minimum requirements and key traits we’re looking for:

- An aspiration to work in an office environment
- An eye for detail & excelled in English at school or related study at a university level
- Enjoys creative writing
- Has a natural ability to pick up systems quickly & has intermediate computer skills
- Self motivated and work independently on delegated tasks
- Ability to work Monday to Friday full time
- Pass a Police Check
- Able to obtain a blue card & NDIS Workers Screening check (we pay for this)
- Provide two references
- Bring a keen attitude and a willingness to learn

**Community Solutions **is a non-for-profit organisation operating as a commercial business, providing apprentices and trainees to a variety of different businesses throughout the Sunshine Coast and Brisbane. We provide apprentices and trainees important career guidance and opportunity to earn while they learn. Dedicated Field Officers are assigned to apprentices and trainees to provide ongoing support to completing their chosen trade qualification.
