**About Us**:
Abacus is a renowned hospitality group with multiple venues across the Melbourne CBD, known for delivering exceptional coffee experiences. We are looking for skilled Baristas with Specialty Coffee experience and a deep understanding of Melbourne’s coffee culture to join our dynamic team for our Espresso Bars in the CBD.

**Key Responsibilities**:

- Prepare and serve high-quality coffee and espresso-based drinks with precision and care.
- Maintain consistent quality by adhering to our coffee-making standards.
- Ensure excellent customer service by engaging with customers and providing knowledgeable recommendations.
- Manage stock levels for coffee beans, milk, and other coffee-related supplies.
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of the coffee area and equipment.
- Assist in training and mentoring junior staff on coffee preparation and service.

**Requirements**:

- Proven experience as a Barista in a Specialty Coffee environment.
- Strong knowledge of Melbourne’s coffee culture and trends.
- Excellent skills in espresso extraction, milk texturing, and latte art.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail.
- Strong communication skills and a passion for customer service.
- Availability to work flexible hours, including weekends.
- Team player with a positive attitude and willingness to learn.

**Equipments**:
**La Morzocco Machine Experience** - Prior experience working with **La Morzocco espresso machines** is essential.
**EK Grinder Knowledge** - Ability to adjust grind settings and dial in beans using an **EK grinder**.
**Coffee Recipes & Precision** - Must be able to follow and create coffee recipes to maintain quality and consistency.
**Great Attitude & Communication** - We need someone who is **friendly, professional, and a great team player**
