**Responsibilities**:

- Ensure that all facilities, grounds, and spaces are maintained to ensure excellence in presentation and function.
- Maintain all gardens, lawns, and paths of travel to the highest of standards.
- Maintain facilities and equipment in good function working order.
- Ensure all areas at both the school and offsite Gym are presented to an excellent standard.
- Monitor heating and cooling levels of rooms and buildings
- Maintain log of service requests and action on same day
- Ensure that spaces and areas are prepared for classes, functions, or events.
- Co-ordinate and assist with physical layouts for functions, assemblies, exam and classroom layouts
- Ensure personnel, catering, audio visual equipment is present and operational were required.
- Provide staff training and support for use of facilities as appropriate
- Carry out maintenance inspections, driver certification and safety audits on School busses, maintain records and documentation in compliance with the Bus Safety Act
- Prepare reports on maintenance compliance as required
- Manage Fire services and Security services, compliance with MFB standards.
- Liaise with contractors and essential services as required.
- Engage staff, trades, and contractors such as cleaners, painters, electricians and Electricians

- Ability to problem solve
- Highly developed organisational skills
- An ability to both takes initiative and to accept direction
- Demonstrated excellent communications skills across a broad community of Managers
- The ability to work well within a team including operational and administrative staff, ICT staff, and maintenance & cleaning staff.
- An excellent personal work ethic and commitment to honesty and integrity.
