**Manager, Clinical Policies and Projects**
- Based in Macquarie Park, short walk from Metro Station, WFH Options

Exciting new opportunity is now available to join our Clinical Governance and Safe Care team. To take ownership and manage all things clinical policies In this position you will develop clinical policies and implement clinical projects to support the achievement of quality care and quality standards across the business streams of Catholic Healthcare.

Reporting to the Manager, Clinical Compliance, with no direct reports, you will develop and maintain for purpose policies that align with legislative requirements, review and maintain existing policies, deliver clinical projects and initiatives and build strong trusted relationships with your key stakeholders.

**Your responsibilities will also include the following;**
- Developing and maintaining a comprehensive suite of clinical policies, procedures, and protocols
- Develop and implement ways to ensure the work is informed by and reflects the views, experience, and expertise of key stakeholders.
- Continuous improvement by review of use and effectiveness of policies, procedures and protocols through clinical audits and performance reviews
- Ensuring clinical policies, procedures and protocols are effectively communicated to employees
- Providing information, coaching, and training (as necessary)
- Engaging with stakeholders when reviewing performance of clinical safety and quality measures
- Conceptualise and present data and information in interesting ways to engage externally and internally with both clinical and non-clinical audiences
- Prepare diverse range of high-quality briefs, submissions, proposals, reports, and other docs
- Ensure Clinical policies, procedures, and protocols are in place, well understood by employees, and are being followed leading to improved clinical practice.
- Managing allocated projects or project activities, prepare and submit progress reports
- Ensuring project objectives are met by producing detailed project

**The ideal applicant**;**
- Completion of relevant tertiary qualifications in Healthcare, Nursing, or similar
- Approx 5 years’ (preferable) previous experience working within the clinical field.
- Strong understanding of legislations related to Aged Care, NDIS, Retirement Villages
- Highly effective and articulate writing skills with an ability to confer comprehension of complex clinical information
- Demonstrated ability to drive continuous improvement action plans
- Change management skills with proven experience leading and influencing change in a complex environment
- Strong computer literacy (MS Office)
- Ability to provide evidence of Covid immunisations
