**About the role
- Assistant Venue Manager**
**Tasks & responsibilities**
Assist in all front of house operations: shift running & driving, staff training and supervision, food and beverage service, customer relations and function running, hitting KPI's and sales kits on shift
Assist in back of house operations: Ordering and stocktake, rosters, recruitment, menu management, venue presentation and general maintenance (training provided), reporting, local marketing
Reporting to Venue Operations Manager/General Manager

**About You**
You'll have a passion for guest service, and ensuring your workplace is an amazing place for guests and staff to come each day
You are comfortable making decisions but also following directions from management
Flexible to work varying shifts including nights and weekends
Available to begin training within 2-3 weeks of job posting
Have a valid Approved manager, RSA and/or supervisor card
Experience and qualifications
Prior hospitality front of house experience
Demonstrated people management experience (min 2 years)
Demonstrated experience with staffing and rostering
Experience with POS and booking systems preferable
Experience with event management and hospitality desirable

**Schedule - Duties and responsibilities**
**General duties**
In addition to the duties and responsibilities set out in this Schedule you must:
1. Exercise the powers, authorities and discretions appropriate to the roles and responsibilities that the Company may from time-to-time delegate to you, including working in any additional capacities;

**Duties and Responsibilities**
The role of X-Golf Assistant Manager is to provide the following in a professional and friendly manner that meets the clean and bespoke nature of the X-Golf brand and venue image:
1. Co-ordinate staff rosters and training to ensure that the Kiosk is kept well serviced and customers engaged while remaining within staffing budget targets.
2. Promote and advertise the Kiosk to the local area community throughout developing relationships and seeking common goals with sporting clubs, social clubs, and local area school functions and events.
3. Prepare a yearly and quarterly marketing and advertising plan for approval and carry out approved exercises to ensure that all relevant Kiosk drivers are promoted and driven for revenue goals to be achieved.
4. Manage the store weekly and monitor staff and revenue performance to enable a weekly report and directives to be sent to head office for review.
5. Actively promote and operate the Kiosk revenue drivers of X-League, Par 3, Lessons, School Clinics, and Events (corporate, bucks, kids, and other) to ensure revenue growth and Kiosk development.
6. Ensure all staff are accredited with appropriate RSA, WWCC (working with children), and food handling documentation.
8. Communicate regularly with XGA support staff (Franchise Support and Technical Manager) to ensure that national directives are being met and to allow for appropriate support around any Kiosk issues that are appropriate.
9. Actively engage customers in a friendly manner to gain feedback and report on Kiosk performance and culture from the customer perspective.
10. Ensure all staff present themselves in a clean, professional, and relaxed manner that meets the brand personality of X-Golf Kiosks nationally
