CVGT has a fantastic and rare career opportunity for a Trainee Automotive Parts and Accessories Sales Assistant working with host employer **Poyser Motor Group Bendigo**. The successful applicant will be given the opportunity to expand their current skill set, all while working towards and completing a qualification and Apprenticeship.

- Cert III in Automotive Sales (Parts Interpreting)

**Position Objective**

To assist the Parts Department by providing effective and accurate interpretation, and high-quality customer service.

Roles and responsibilities

**General**
- Adhere to Poyser Motor Group’s corporate policies and procedures
- Any other duties as directed by the Parts Manager or Management team

**Health, Safety, Environment**
- Maintain a safe system of work in the workplace including tools and equipment.
- Comply with all relevant health, safety and environmental legislation.
- Active promotion of health and safety.

**Skills & Experience**
- Excellent organisational skills.
- Sound multi-task skills and the ability to juggle different tasks at once.
- General knowledge of vehicles.

**Specific**
- Authorise sales of parts and accessories to workshop repair orders.
- Locate second hand items as quickly as possible and obtain payment for these items as requested.
- Maintain average gross profits in accordance with Dealership policy.
- Provide the same high level of service to both internal and external customers.
- Perform other duties as requested by management.
- Complete all invoices accurately and promptly.
- Purchase any items not in stock at the best possible price.
- Check, inspect and authorise all necessary orders, picking slips, requisitions and purchase orders.
- Support the Service Department by closing Repair Orders.
- Supporting the Service Department when necessary.

**Customers**
- Set clear and intentional customer experiences.

**People & relationships**
- Establish and maintain practices designed to train, develop and motivate department employees.
- Report all customer complaints (internal and external) and conditions that are averse to the operational efficiency of the department or achievement of quality.

**Training & development**
- Attend training & development programs.
- Maintain familiarity with Technical Service Bulletins.
- Suggest training and equipment needs to the Parts Department Manager.

**Quality**
- Implement and maintain to a high standard “the dealer standards” relevant to the position of Parts Interpreter.

**Requirements**:

- Driver’s licence required.
- Current Police Check or required on commencement of employment.
