Program Manager, Trade 2032

And you'll do this with people who want you to grow and progress.The Brisbane 2032 Olympic and Paralympic Games will be the largest event ever held in Queensland and provides a global opportunity to promote the State of Queensland as an export partner, investment destination, and a great place to live, study and work.The Queensland Trade and Investment Strategy 2022-2032 will help facilitate and promote trade and investment opportunities for the benefit of all Queenslanders, in the lead up to and post the Brisbane 2032 Olympic and Paralympic Games. TIQ have developed a Trade 2032 Plan and will lead the implementation of activities, in collaboration with federal, state and local governments, and industry groups.
Reporting to the Executive Director, SEC, you will be responsible for developing, managing and implementing the program of activities relating to all engagement opportunities that form part of the Trade 2032 Plan. Including program governance, tracking benefit realisation, communications and marketing including program success measurement, budget, risk and issue management, to ensure the required outcomes are delivered. You will also work in partnership with the project managers of the individual projects to ensure each project's objectives and targets are met on time and within budget.
**Based in Brisbane, here's what your role will involve**:

- Manage, monitor and oversee the Trade 2032 Plan activation program, while working in partnership with the individual project managers to design, deliver and manage related trade and investment events and initiatives that create export and investment outcomes.
- Develop an overarching program governance structure to enable effective management of program delivery against individual project plans and schedules; ensuring that key risks and issues are identified, mitigated, managed and/or successfully escalated.
- Develop a program reporting platform to capture regular individual project status reports on key milestones and deliverables with supporting metrics provided through adequate systems, processes, registers, records and internal controls.
- Design, implement and manage a stakeholder matrix aligned to the activation programs, to identify the appropriate internal and external stakeholders and key industry partners, to initiate, influence and maintain effective relationships and communication channels, to ensure the key trade and investment projects are delivered successfully, and the required outcomes achieved.
- Manage program resources, procurement, expenses and costs against the program forecasts.
- Lead and manage multi-disciplinary project teams, to ensure resources, risks and priorities are effectively managed.
