Join our team within Services division in Australia as Works Manager to help us take Sulzer to the next level.

**In this role you will be accountable for**:

- Manage the overall operation of the workshop and support the team of trades and trade assistants.
- Work closely with the Service Centre Manager and achieve budgetary targets.
- Prepare forecasting for workshop loading ensuring workflows are smooth
- Understand the flow in each department within the Service Centre.
- Devise the master production schedule and work orders by holding regular work in progress meetings.
- Ensure that all work scopes delivered on time and on budget.
- Manage the costing of job folders on completion of work.
- Ensure appropriate labour utilization for jobs is reasonable.
- Ensure that the Company QESH systems are adhered to in the Workshop.
- Assist in the learning and development of apprentices and other team members.

**To succeed in this role, you will need**:

- Trade Qualification in Electrical / Mechanical Engineering or related discipline.
- Strong estimating experience around Electrical Rotating Equipment
- 5+ Years’ experience in supervisory/management position.
- 5+ years’ experience with Electrical / Mechanical products
- Winding expereince (favourable)
- Strong communication skills.
- High level skills in time management.
