**Job Duties/Essential Functions**
- 5+ years in Export Management role essential
- Strong background in intermodal transport required - Sea, Rail, Road, Air
- Schedules and supervises daily activities of reporting employees. Coordinates employee breaks, lunches, and side tasks
- Directs inbound and outbound depot traffic. Instructs truck drivers and assists them with any queries
- Walks depot floor to monitor employee productivity, safety and ensure smooth flow of goods in and out of the depot
- Assists with Bookings/Admin, schedules and manages intermodal bookings
- Communicates with other areas of the Depot and respective warehouses as needed
- Sets and releases dock restraints and dock plates. Opens, closes, locks, and unlocks roll-up bay doors and trailer doors.
- Ensures the priority stock or coupon items are in respective shipping lanes and follow them through
- Coordinates and participates in daily maintenance checklists
- Checks trailers to determine if sweep-out needed and records any prior damage. Verifies discrepancies between goods ordered and received. Keeps records, checks temperature and seals the outbound loads.
- Monitors equipment and checks that equipment is shut off at the end of the day
- Checks facility safety, security, cleanliness and battery recharging
- Observes paperwork to determine that depot procedures are followed.
- Provides training, encouragement, advice, and feedback to reporting employees.
- Drafts and participates in presentation of employee performance evaluations
- Ensures the depot is maintained in accordance with Depot’s safety protocols
- Assists in other departments of the Depot as necessary.
- Must have warehousing experience and must be physically fit
- Must be able to work in split shift / rotating rosters / Saturdays
- Must be versatile to work in both DRY & WET and in different departments as per business needs

**_ Ability to operate vehicles, equipment or machinery_**
- Forklift, EPJ, Computer, printer, phone, calculator, hand held two-way radio.

**Non-Essential functions**
- Assists in other areas of Depot where necessary.
- Education/Training: Higher School Certificate preferred.
- Licenses/Certifications: Must have Forklift Licence
- Knowledge/Skills: Intermediate MS word and Excel skills
- Other Skills and Abilities: Previous experience in supervisory role. Ability to multi-task.
