Operates equipment such as forklifts and electric pallet jacks to move and prepare goods in and out of depot. Pick packing/sorting of merchandise.

**Job Duties/Essential Functions**
- Loading and unloading trailers of pallets
- Staging and loading trailers
- Wrapping, unwrapping and strapping the pallets
- Sorting the pallets and labelling as required (some heavy lifting involved)
- Operating electric pallet jack (EPJ) to move pallets of received and sorted merchandise to shipping lanes or to other areas of the depot.
- Scans merchandise using radio frequency (RF) scanner.
- Operating EPJ and forklift to offload inbound deliveries into the Depot
- General upkeep of depot and grounds
- Other duties as directed
- Must be able to work in split shift / rotating roster / Saturdays
- Must have warehousing experience and physically fit
- Chiller/Cold Storage Distribution experience is an advantage. Chiller/Freezer/Ambient temperature work required
- Must be versatile and keen to work in both DRY & WET and in different departments as per business needs.

Ability to operate vehicles, equipment or machinery_**
- Forklift, EPJ, RF Scanner. Computer, printer, phone, calculator, hand held two-way radio.

**Non-Essential functions**
- Assists in other departments where necessary.
- Education/Training: Higher School Certificate preferred.
- Licenses/Certifications: Must have Forklift Licence
- Knowledge/Skills: Basic Computer Skills
- Other Skills and Abilities: Chiller/Cold Storage Distribution experience is an advantage.

**Other specific requirements**:
MUST have own transport
