**Qualified Educator for Childcare (Runaway Bay)**

**Hourly Rate**: $36.50 per hour

We are seeking a dedicated and qualified educator to provide in-home care for a 1-year-old in the beautiful Runaway Bay area. At Northern Rivers In Home Care, we are committed to offering high-quality, personalised childcare services that nurture children's development and foster a loving environment.

**Position Details**:

- **Monday**: 8:00 AM - 5:00 PM
- **Tuesday**: 8:00 AM - 12:00 PM
- **Wednesday**: 1:00 PM - 7:00 PM
- **Thursday**: 8:00 AM - 5:00 PM
- **Friday**: 1:00 PM - 5:00 PM

**Key Responsibilities**:

- Provide a safe and nurturing environment for the child, promoting their well-being and development.
- Plan and implement age-appropriate activities that encourage physical, cognitive, and social growth.
- Support the child's emotional and social development through positive interactions and guidance.
- Communicate effectively with the child’s family, providing updates on daily activities, milestones, and any concerns.
- Assist with feeding, changing, and general care needs as required.

**Key Attributes and Qualifications**:

- A strong passion for early childhood education and child development.
- Current qualification in Early Childhood Education (minimum Certificate III or higher).
- First Aid and CPR certification (or willingness to obtain).
- Previous experience working with infants and toddlers is highly desirable.
- Ability to create a positive, safe, and engaging learning environment.
- Strong communication skills and a professional, caring attitude.
- Reliable, punctual, and trustworthy.

**The successful applicant will have the following prerequisites**:

- Certificate III in Children’s Services (ACECQA approved)
- Hold a current First Aid and CPR Certificate (in a childcare setting)
- Blue Card
- Police Clearance (less than 6 months old)
- Public liability insurance (once successfully placed)
- Medical Clearance
- Child Protection (refresher required every 2 years)
- ABN (this role is for a self employed/contractor)
- Photo ID
- PRODA RA (the office will assist you with this)

**Job Types**: Part-time, Casual

Pay: $36.50 per hour

Schedule:

- Afternoon shift
- Day shift

Licence/Certification:

- Police Clearance (preferred)
- Child Protection Refresher (preferred)
- Cert III in Early Childhood (required)
- First Aid Certification (required)

- Blue Card (required)
