Runaway Bay Educator Required Immediate Start

We have a lovely single professional parent family in Runaway Bay that is looking for a caring and qualified Educator to care for two children ages 10 and 7 years old for Afterschool Care 5 days a week. We are looking for a passionate Educator that is reliable, flexible. Father works full time from home. Eldest child has ASD Level 3 and very high needs, challenging behaviours so experience is essential.

**Days and Hours**:
Monday to Friday

2.45pm to 8.30/11.30pm

Care will be required on a Saturday every 3 weeks

8am to 1pm

**Start date**:
ASAP

**Hourly rate**:
$40.00 per hour includes Superannuation

**Job tasks and responsibilities**
- Build and maintain strong, positive relationships with the family and children
- Experience in complex needs/challenging behaviours
- You will be required to take the children to appointments/therapies so a car is essential

**Qualifications and Criteria required**:

- **_Certificate III in Children’s Services or higher (min 2 years experience)_**:

- **_Hold a current First Aid and CPR Certificate - Childcare First Aid Training HLTAID0011 and HLTAID009_**:

- **_Blue Card and Police Clearance_**
- **_Liability insurance (once successfully placed with a family approx. $43.00 per month)_**:

- **_Medical Clearance_**:

- **_Child Protection (refresher required every 2 years)_**:

- **_ABN (this role is for a self employed/contractor)_**:

- **_PRODA RA (the office will assist you with this)_**:

- **MUST HAVE A RELIABLE CAR AND DRIVERS LICENCE**

Northern Rivers In Home Care is an approved child care provider. We are a not for profit In Home Care Child Care Service servicing the Northern Rivers area and Gold Coast.
